a seminar lecturer held up a twenty dollar bill and asked his audience who would want it. several hands went up but the lecturer said that he'd do something first before he gives it up. he screwed up the bill into a ball and asked once more who would want it. the hands still went up, he then threw the bill ball onto the wall. he then threw it down on the floor and stomped on it insulted it and trampled on it. he showed his audience the now dirty and crumpled twenty dollar bill. he asked once more who still wanted it and the hands still went up.
then he told his audience
'remember this moment, it doesnt matter what i do to the money. it is still a twenty dollar bill. so often in our lives we are ill treated trampled crumpled and insulted and yet despite all that we are still worth the same.
